Reverse Osmosis Membrane High Silica Antiscalant is a blend of antiscalant, antifoulants and silica dispersants, especially designed for use where silica levels are high upto 250% saturation of silica in reject. It stabilizes metal ions and disperses metal oxides such Iron and Manganese as well as colloidal particles such as silt and clay, and protects membrane from aluminum silicate fouling. It controls calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, calcium fluoride, barium sulfate and strontium sulfate scales in waters with a high fouling potential. It surpasses the performance of other antiscalants (such as Permatreat etc. of Nalco, Maxtreat of Thermax and Indion of Ion Exchange) under stressed conditions of high pH.

Dosage: Antiscalant chemical is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter. It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line. The amount of antiscalant or antifoulant required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and size of the membrane system. The specific dosage rates will be specified by the Sruti Engineers technical representative.
